No two people are meant to walk the same path. Every single path that we walk as human beings is different. No two human beings live the same life. Its just not how it works. What works for me, may not work for you and what works for you may not work for me. Its not rocket science to understand that. What I seem to notice though is that we struggle with accepting our differences. We want people to do things how we want them to do it and we want them to do what works for us not for them. This is not how life works.
We all walk our own path. Each and everyone of us, yes our paths will cross from time to time, yes we will have things in common, yes sometimes we walk alongside each other on the same path, but at some point we have to walk away and we have to live our own lives. When you close your eyes and sleep, you have to be at peace with the choices that you have made.
What I choose for myself should not be offensive to anyone else. Its my choice for my life. What religion I choose to be is between me and God, and to those that choose not to believe in God that does not offend me, that is their choice. I feel for them, it must be a lonely place to be in my opinion, but still it is their choice. I know many atheist’s and they are beautiful people, They do not take away from me my relationship with God, I just continue to love them and pray for them as I would the next person. Its not my place to judge, that spot is reserved for GOD.
I use religion as my example because it is the easiest and most common one that I know. We were all made different. We each have our individuality for a reason. We are meant to walk the path built in us, the one in our vision, in our dreams. Imagine everyone had the same dream as the next, the world would be such a bore.
Why am I writing this? Well, I feel the need to put it out there. People need to stop trying to be like other people. They also need to stop trying to make people what they think they should be. We should be focusing on who we are, how we can improve as individuals and we should be learning about ourselves. There are so many people around the world walking about and they can’t answer the simplest questions ( I used to be one of them). Questions like: What are your plans for the next year? Who are you? Not what’s your name, but who are you? What is your passion? What is your reason for everything that you do? What gets you excited? What are you grateful for? If you had all the money in the world, what would you do with your life? If you were going to die tomorrow, what would you do next? If you could go back in time where would you go and what would you change? How well do you really know yourself? Why do you react the way you do when somebody says something, or does something? Why does it trigger an automatic emotion in you?
Again the point of this exercise is me asking you to walk your own path and walk it with confidence in who you are and where you are going. Know why you are there and don’t look back unless its to remember, to smile or to learn. We are all created equally in the eyes of our maker. We are all blessed with different gifts, I can never be anyone else, but I can most certainly be the best Tammy-Lynn Murphy that there is, because there is no other me. Yes, people may share my name, but a name is not WHO you are. A name is just WHAT you are called. My essence is unique, and so is yours. Don’t forget to feel the essence of WHO YOU ARE. That thing about you that makes you, you. Remember WHO YOU ARE and not what the world wants you to be and walk that path, your path, the one that leads you to happiness, authenticity, peace and love.
You are all beautiful beings and I am grateful for all of you. Be kind to yourself, be gentle with yourself and allow room for mistakes.
Thank you for being here🌼
Love and Light.
Tammy

amazing way to narrate the concept and to bring in our notice WALK YOUR OWN PATH. we wish we want and should have right to choose our path in our own way. but hardly we think about it seriously, select it for ourselves and are able to move on the choice of our path. because of many personal ,professional, marital and social pressures. one who dares to choose his/her own path is certainly bold, courageous and ambitious. it’s point of awakening, once you have then there is no looking back. thanks for sharing your valuable thoughts.
