It seems as though the more I make improvements in my life with regards to peace and love in all that I do and with regards to winning the battle of my past vs my present, that the moment I feel like I’m close to a breakthrough thats when negative things try to step in my way. So much good is happening in my life right now, that I have worked really hard to accomplish, and as they start to unravel and become a reality, unplanned obstacles are falling at my feet. It’s almost as if there is something that knows my weaknesses and picks at those very things that will potentially knock me down. Like rejection and the death of my kitty, all in the same week. It’s been a week of really high highs and really low lows. It’s like a tug of war between good and evil pulling me from side to side. However, I will not give in to the pull of negativity at my feet. The work I have put into myself to overcome this is stronger than anything that this world can throw at me and I will endure all things that try to challenge me.
I am finally moving into my own space this weekend, its been a long time coming and I’m finally up for the challenge. I am also planning my first trip to London for the Mambocity 5 Start Salsa Congress and to see what the hype is all about. I get to write about it all right here , which is my very own blessing and accomplishment, and I get to share it all with you. It’s so important to be willing to grow, to be willing to face fears and to just step out into the world of the unknown to experience it. Once you take that step, you become a changed person, I know because I have been taking small steps into the unknown for a few years now and only good comes of it, growth in knowledge, growth in self and a greater understanding of the world as we know it.
It’s difficult to ignore though that there is an invisible war going on between you winning and you losing. I feel it strongly and can totally understand the concept of spiritual warfare. The weaker you are the less tugging there is, the stronger you become, the pull of darkness really has a go at you. It’s important to be able to protect yourself and be rooted in the strength and protection of your maker. It’s important to remember that you are not alone and that you have backup when shit is going down and you cant manage on your own. If you do not have the strength to manage then you draw strength from the maker of your being and the bearer of your soul.
Thank you for reading, you are appreciated and I am sending love and light your way!
Live your life in the light.
