Jingle Bells

Be someones angel this Christmas

Its Christmas eve and everyone celebrating is preparing for the big day tomorrow.

This crazy time of year when families get together and share all sorts of amazing things with each other in the spirit of the birth of a baby thousands of years ago. What I’ve experienced is that even families that aren’t practicing Christians have made this day of giving and sharing their own. I love that no matter who you are and where you come from, or even what religion you have chosen, that Santa will show up for you and that he does not discriminate. People have chosen to practice giving, sharing and loving on this day. For this is the most important thing, to not separate ourselves from each other for any reason, and to love unconditionally no matter what choices individuals have made for themselves.

I would like to point out that love is what makes this time special, that so much love is shared throughout the world at this time of the year. Isn’t this the whole point of Christ? Love? It’s what he taught, his greatest commandment! What I love most about this time of year is that in a world full of chaos and challenges, where people are in pain and they struggle to keep it together, that this thing called love comes out at its strongest! People share more, give more and hope more. The magic of Christmas really comes to light through the works of everyone spreading love however they can, separating themselves from religious boundaries and choosing the light and love of the season.

What I wish for Christmas is that people realize that its not only this time of the year where there is a need to give love to those around you, and though its a beautiful thing to see, how I would love to see it more throughout the year as well as during the Christmas season because the need for compassion does not reserve itself just for Christmas, or just for Christians, ITS ALWAYS THERE, needed by everyone.

To everyone who in some way spread love and cheer this time of year… I salute you and I appreciate your efforts. It takes 1 person to make a difference in 1 persons life, and love is spread one person at a time, one good deed at a time and one kind word at a time. This is how we overcome darkness, one tiny step at a time.

I hope everyone has an amazing festive season, may the peace and love of Christmas find its way into your hearts and fill you with everything your soul requires.

Merry Christmas to all my readers, thank you for taking the time out of your lives to share with me here in this community, in this space where I share my thoughts, my self and my life experiences with you all. I appreciate every one of you.

Live your life in joy, peace and love.

Merry Christmas
